Personal Information
Name: Corina Maire Daeline [pronunciation: "cor REENA day LINE"]
Place of Birth: Liverpool, London
Age/Year: 16/6th
House: Gryffindor
Gender: femme
Description
Eye color: Her eyes are remarkable; a bright blue colour with speckles of turquoise on her iris as well.
Hair color: Her hair is dark brown in colour, with a slight tinge of red mixed in as well. It is wavy and ends right past her shoulders, and she has messy bangs that fall over her forehead to the side.
Overall Appearance: Corina has a slim body from athletics, but shapely. Her pale skin, rather than making her look like a ghost, accentuates her best features including her dark hair and eyes. With naturally rosy cheeks and rich, red, lips, Corina is a beauty. She has long, thin, elegant fingers and a dark birthmark on her right cheek. Corina usually wears her hair down, because she finds pulling it back in a ponytail is quite uncomfortable and hard to maintain throughout the day.
Personality: Corina is different than those other girls who obsess over their make up and their clothes. She prefers a natural look, and will settle for a pair of jeans, a vintage t-shirt and a quick brush of her hair in the morning rather than spending hours on her appearance. She doesn't believe what's on the outside matters, despite her natural good looks. Corina is the most judgmental and daring girl you will ever meet, with an ability to live without fear of what others think of her.
She is young, and adores having fun with her friends. She has always shown a love for music, since she was a little baby, and was always extremely picky about what she listened to. She is unafraid and doesn't care what others think of her, and that enables her fiery and wild side to come out sometimes.
She is very kind, and treats everyone she meets with a great deal of respect. Unless of course, they've caused her or one of her close friends or relatives harm; she'll try to make their life as miserable as possible. She is surprisingly strong, you wouldn't expect her to have as many muscles as she does in her small body. Corina has a strong will, and if she believes in something, she will fight to the death for it; and once she has set her mind on something NO ONE and NOTHING will ever change it. She is very sharp, and is able to solve puzzles easily. She has an extremely high IQ, and has always been extremely smart. Corina can detect when somebody is lying simply by the tone of their voice and is very good at guessing what will happen next.

Further, she is often forgets important things which causes her to have trouble in school, and her personal life as well. Family
Parents: Samantha and Thomas Daeline.
Siblings: Travis Daeline [23], Lauren Daeline [15].
Extended (Distant family, close friends, etc.): cousin - ben robinson.
History: Her story starts back sixteen years ago, born to a pair of loving parents who were struggling to support both Corina and her older brother Travis. The two were inseparable (Corina and Travis) as they got older, even though their was a six year age difference between them. He was her first hero, admiring him for his ‘adventurous’ nature to steal cookies from the cupboard and go riding his bike without a helmet. At one point when she was six, her father lost his job and they were forced to move to a more slummy part of town into a broken down house. Corina didn't want to leave her friends and home behind, so she was crying for weeks after they moved.
After a while, she got used to the crummy house, and soon her father was hired again by a different company. This job paid higher than the last, and they were able to fix up their house and add on to it over time. When she was nine, the house was absolutely beautiful. Everything in her life seemed to be wonderful. She had found great new friends, and had a loving family. Lauren was only six and very high maintenance but she loved her all the same.
December third. That would always be the day she would never forget. It was the day her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. The Daeline family, especially Corina, were devastated. Her mother had been one of her best friends. If she lost her mother to cancer . . . . well, she didn't know what she would do. She was thirteen when she found out, and her grades suffered because she lost interest, spending all of her time at the hospital at her mother's side. After her mother battled the disease for two years, her body gave in. Corina lost her at age fifteen.
She became depressed and at one point made an attempt on her own life, but her brother stopped her. She was forced to go to a counselor to help her sort out all of her feelings. It took a long time, but after a year, she felt better about her mother's death and wasn't as upset. Sure, she cried once in a while, but she was no longer suicidal.
From there, her life was pretty average. She enjoys learning about the magic of transfiguration and also healing, and aspires to be a healer when she graduates.
Other
Pets (Maximum is two): A snowy owl named Dottie because of the spots on her feathers.
Wand: 9", Dragon Heartstring Core, Yew wood,
Broom (Optional): numbus 2001
Anything else (Optional): yes, yes, kyle loves rain. *rolls eyes*
Roleplay Example:
Corina didn't gamble. At least, that's what she tried to tell herself. The last time she had visited the casino, she had gotten out of control and lost more than $15,000. For some reason, even when she was losing, she continued to spend more money, in belief that a miracle would happen and she would end up with twice as much money as she started with. She didn't really know why she was in the casino, because it would probably end yet again with her having to lighten her bank account by a reasonable amount of money. She wandered around for a few minutes, trying to resist the urge to pull out a twenty dollar bill and slap it on the blackjack table.
She spotted two guys at the slot machines, the only two who weren't glugging down a beer at the same time they were playing, so she figured they were safe to approach. Corina moseyed over to them, feeling out of place because the gamblers were mostly men. She smiled at the pair of them but didn't sit down in front of one of the machines, because she knew she'd slip a nickel in, and from there it would all go downhill.
